Save School №165 — Help Ukrainian children!
School 165 in the very heart of Kyiv — a school that has survived a bombing
by the russians. The explosion blew out windows and damaged the roof, as a result
of which classrooms and the school laboratory were damaged.
But 340 children study there no matter what, and the teachers teach.
During air raids, the children go down to the basement, but still, neither the teachers
nor the children leave their hometown, their homes, or their school.
We call on you to join us and to make it as SAFE as possible
for children to continue their studies under the current conditions.

As a world-leading expert in disaster resiliency, response, and reconstruction, I provide expert engineering and policy consultation to the World Bank, USAID, UN agencies, and governments.
I have been in Ukraine since September 2022.
And I was struck by how the heroic and staunch Ukrainian people resist unjustified military aggression.
I admire Ukraine and Ukrainians who, despite the war, continue to live, work, and rebuild their homes.
We cannot stop the war, but we can help people rebuild their homes, schools, and hospitals.
Such as School 165.

The Reconstruction of School 165
Our engineers have already made an assessment and created a project for restoring this school.
They have identified the following key stages of reconstruction:
Miyamoto Relief Ukraine has partnered with Holosiivski district administration in Kyiv
and signed a Memorandum of Partnership with the school director.
Miyamoto Relief Ukraine engineers have already started work on the project
and are preparing for the first stage — restoring the damaged roof.
But we will be unable to complete the reconstruction without more funding.
The project needs
We have already raised
$ 45,000
$ 144,000
We call on you to join us to help Ukrainians reconstruct
their country to victory!
Miyamoto Relief Ukraine is a part of humanitarian fund that applies engineering expertise to sustain life in at-risk communities. Our focus is on the urgent repair of civilian buildings so that Ukrainians can return to their normal lives as soon as possible. Miyamoto Relief Ukraine also works to preserve cultural heritage and historic structures.
Almost all overhead costs are covered by Miyamoto International Ukraine.
Miyamoto International Ukraine also provides engineering expertise at no profit, or at no cost at all to our relief projects. This enables Miyamoto Relief Ukraine to reach those most in need. Traditional nonprofits struggle with high overhead costs with fewer funds available for the communities they serve. Having minimal overhead costs makes Miyamoto Relief Ukraine very effective and unique. Donor money is spent entirely on our programmatic work.
Miyamoto Relief Ukraine has already spent
3 million UAH — 80 000$ for construction work and materials. A kindergarten in Zahal'tsi and a residential building in Vishnyaki have already been restored.
Our criteria
Damages caused by military actions that require current
or significant repairs
Priority assistance to socially vulnerable segments
of the population: families with children, pensioners, and people with disabilities
Facilities identified by local authorities or Miyamoto Relief Ukraine engineers
The war is still going, but people are coming back.
People are willing to live in their native cities, in their homes.
We cannot wait until the war is over. We just need to fix and reconstruct the damaged infrastructure now.
That’s why we at Miyamoto Relief Ukraine are actually here.
Together we reconstruct Ukraine to Victory
